Victor Brandt (Dimmu Borgir)

bio

Victor Brandt is the man behind the hard ‘n’ heavy bass sound of black metal icons Dimmu Borgir.

The Swedish musician is a veteran of the metal scene, with a biography that takes in names from Entombed A.D. and Satyricon to Six Feet Under and many more.

He was offered the role in Dimmu Borgir in 2018 as the band was celebrating its 25th anniversary, and has been touring the world with them ever since.

The summer is taken up with festivals, while clubs and halls fill up the diary for the rest of the year.

And as if that wasn’t enough, in his free time between tours Victor devotes himself to his second project, Firespawn, in which he plays guitar and co-writes the songs.

He also taught at Warwick Bass Camp, communicating his driving technique to his students.

Victor’s bass sound lives from his aggressive plectrum style, and distortion is its lifeblood.

He naturally seeks to reproduce this specific sound flawlessly, whatever devices he is using.

To achieve this, Victor chose KLOTZ Cables.

We’re proud to welcome a member of the extreme metal scene to the KLOTZ Family!
