Hailing from the German city of Muenster, Florian Fuentmann was born in 1981 – just after the decade that brought the world Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
But he wasted no time in catching up, and now counts these giants among his favourite bands.
While still a music student, Florian joined forces with some old friends to form the band Long Distance Calling.
The instrumental rock band has released six albums to date, with the seventh – “Stummfilm” (Silent Movie) – scheduled for November 2019.
Florian can already look back on a slew of chart placings and successful tours with LDC, but his soaring guitar sound can also be heard in other bands too – like Healer’s debut album, released in 2018.
In addition, Florian is a sought-after studio musician for other artists and bands.
